  Robin Korevaar

A founding member of the Dallas-based Camerata Winds chamber ensemble, Robin has enjoyed a long career as a freelance clarinetist.  She has performed with the Colorado, Dallas, Ft. Worth and New Orleans Symphonies, and is currently the second clarinetist with the Plano Symphony Orchestra. Locally she has also worked with the East Texas and Las Colinas Symphony Orchestras, the Dallas Opera, and the Dallas Wind Symphony.

The primary clarinet instructor for the Highland Park and Lake Highlands cluster schools, Robin is a repeat clinician for the Allen Clarinet Solutions festival.  She provides masterclasses regularly for Dallas area band programs and looks forward to concertizing and teaching in Japan this summer.  Robin’s students perform well in All-Region, -Area and -State competitions, and often receive outstanding performance awards at their solo and ensemble festivals.  Her degrees in music therapy and social work, and training in motherhood and triathlons, add depth to her instructional style.  Robin receives regular requests to design outreach concerts for Camerata Winds, and enjoys these opportunities to bring music into her community.
