High School Competition Events

Interested high school students can apply to compete in the Solo Competition.

Students must currently be in grades 9-12 in a Texas School.

High School Solo Competition requires an Application Fee ($10) and application form is due February 15 at Noon.

Letter of recommendation is required (from a band director or private teacher).

There are limited spaces available. Once spots are filled there will be a waiting list.

Students must have an accompanist for literature which is not listed as an unaccompanied work.

Performers will be notified by February 22nd.

Wait-list students will be notified of performance as soon as space is available.
