9:00 a.m. Middle School Master Class

For application to perform CLICK HERE. (Observation does not require application.)

Middle school clarinetists from the NE Texas Region coached by Jennifer Mendez.

 

9:00 a.m. High School Master Class

For application to perform CLICK HERE. (Observation does not require application.)

High school clarinetists from the NE Texas Region coached by Dr. Druhan and guest artist(s).

 

10:15 a.m. High School Solo Competition

For Rules, qualifications, and application to compete CLICK HERE.

This event will be judged by Dr. Druhan and Jennifer Mendez.

 

10:15 a.m. College Master Class

TAMU-C clarinetists coached by guest artist(s).

 

11:30 a.m. LUNCH

Lunch provided by TAMU-C music organizations at a reasonable price. (Details will follow.)

 

1:00 p.m. Clinic A- Orchestral Excerpts

TAMU-C Students get coached on orchestral literature.

 

1:00 p.m. Clinic B- Solo Performances

High School students get coached on solo competition taking.

 

1:00 p.m. Clinic C- Clarinet Fundamentals

Middle School students get coached on improving their skills.

 

2:30 p.m. Guest Artist Clarinet Recital

Performances by guest clarinetists including Dr. Druhan and the TAMU-C Clarinet ensembles.

 

4:30 p.m. Topic 1- Applying for College

High School students get coached on key points for college auditions.

 

4:30 p.m. Topic 2- Applying for Graduate School

College students get coached on the next step to their education.

 

6:00 p.m. Event Dinner

Guests are invited to meet at Lone Star Eatery for dinner (on your own).
