Welcome
Dr. Mary Alice Druhan, Associate Professor of Clarinet, joined the faculty of Texas A&M University – Commerce in 2002. Since her appointment, she has taught courses in music literature, ear training, woodwind methods, chamber music, woodwind literature, and woodwind pedagogy. She has held previous teaching positions at James Madison University and Louisiana State University.

Performance News
Mary has performed for ICA Conventions and the OU Clarinet Symposium as well as for the Northeast Texas Clarinet Day, which she founded and directs. She has also performed for TMEA, TBA, and the Midwest International Band and Orchestra Clinis. Mary has been a member of the Dallas Wind Symphony since 2003 and is a founding member of Triforia Winds. Click below for more information on these and upcoming performances.

TriforiaWinds

Jocelyn Goranson, Mary Druhan, and Todd Goranson founded the faculty woodwind trio of Texas A&M University-Commerce in 2006. The ensemble has performed for many international venues and was recently named the official woodwind trio of the Dallas Wind Symphony. They have been invited to perform in Canada, Macedonia, Thailand, England, Croatia, and Puerto Rico.
