Dr. Mary Alice Druhan, Associate Professor of Clarinet, joined the faculty of Texas A&M University – Commerce in 2002. Since her appointment, she has taught courses in music literature, ear training, woodwind methods, chamber music, woodwind literature, and woodwind pedagogy. She has held previous teaching positions at James Madison University and Louisiana State University. Dr. Druhan is an artist-clinician for Buffet-Crampon USA and an Artist with the World Clarinet Alliance.

Performance News
Mary has performed for International Clarinet Association Conventions, the OU Clarinet Symposium, and the Northeast Texas Clarinet Day [which is now called the Texas Clarinet Colloquium]. She has also performed for TMEA, TBA, and the Midwest International Band and Orchestra Clinic. Mary has been a member of the Dallas Wind Symphony since 2003 and is a founding member of Triforia Winds.Mary has been invited to perform at Clarinet Fest 2010 in Austin. Along with Duo Renard, she will be presenting the world premiere of a new piece by Ben Stonaker.

TriforiaWinds

Jocelyn Goranson, Mary Druhan, and Todd Goranson founded the faculty woodwind trio of Texas A&M University-Commerce in 2006. The ensemble has performed for events around the United Statas as well as in Puerto Rico, Thaliand, and England. The ensemble regularly performs as the woodwind trio for the Dallas Wind Symphony for concerts and radio broadcasts.
